The Reedley College participatory governance process is collaborative and inclusive. It provides opportunity for involvement of faculty, staff, administration, and students in the planning and operation of the College. The governance process embraces the Reedley College mission, philosophy, and core values, which includes. Sierra College Press. The Sierra College Press is one of the very few academic presses operated by a community college in the United States. The Sierra College Press was formed in to publish Standing Guard: Telling our Stories as part of the Standing Guard Project’s examination of Japanese-American Internment during World War II.. Building upon that foundation, the Sierra College Press.

The Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) Data Oversight Group (DOG) is the data governance body of the college and tasked with helping assure the integrity and accuracy of the college’s data and data systems. DOG promotes communication among data users on campus, develops guidelines for system and data use, and assists in promoting a culture. The College Governance Council will annually receive requests and make recommendations about the purpose and membership of College Committees and Task Forces. They will also be charged with periodically evaluating the effectiveness of and satisfaction with the college governance system.

The governance system ensures open communication among all groups, including the lead campus administrator and other administrative staff at the College. The decisions and policies that result from this inclusive model of governance are made better through the collective intelligence of the college community. Governance of the college. Legal authority for the operation of the college, under the charter granted by the State of Oregon, rests with the board of trustees.A charter and bylaws (Bylaws of the Reed Institute) provide for a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 50 trustees, of whom one is the president of the college.
